Job summary

Confidentiel is seeking an experienced Remittance Operations leader to oversee day-to-day inbound and outbound remittance processing across multiple corridors. You will ensure fast, accurate transfers, manage end-to-end lifecycle, and coordinate with banks, payout partners, and aggregators.

The role requires strong AML/KYC practices, ability to optimize processes, and hands-on experience with multi-corridor remittance operations in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance or International Business is preferred.
• Certifications in payments or compliance (e.g., CAMS, Certified Payments Professional, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in remittance operations, cross-border payments, or international money transfers.
• At least 2-3 years in a managerial or team leadership role within a remittance or payments operations unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day processing of inbound and outbound remittance transactions across all active corridors.
• Ensure transactions are executed within defined SLAs with speed, accuracy, and reliability.
• Manage end-to-end remittance lifecycle including initiation, processing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Manage relationships with correspondent banks, exchange houses, payout partners, and aggregators across key remittance corridors.
• Monitor corridor performance including success rates, payout TAT, and partner uptime; take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain AML, KYC, and sanctions screening processes for remittance transactions; coordinate with compliance.
