Job summary

JANA Group - Al Sorour Bakeries in Abu Dhabi is seeking a full-time Croissant Maker for on-site work. You will scale ingredients, laminate dough, and shape and bake croissants to established recipes and quality standards.

You will monitor times and temperatures, maintain a clean workstation, support production schedules, manage raw material inventory, and assist with new product trials. Early shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage may be required to meet daily production demands.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in pastry or bakery production, especially croissant and laminated dough.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and basic HACCP principles in a commercial kitchen or industrial bakery.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes, production schedules and quality specifications with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake croissants and laminated pastry items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Scale ingredients, mix dough, laminate, shape, proof and bake as required.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent texture, flavor and appearance.
