Job summary

Inflexion Technology seeks experienced Cost Controllers and Project Controls professionals to transition into software and functional consulting. You will understand real-world budgets, costs, procurement and forecasting to shape system requirements for Konstryx.

Role involves working with construction customers, documenting processes, supporting implementation, and guiding users through new workflows while bridging business and technical teams.

Inflexion Technology is looking for experienced Cost Controllers Project Controls professionals Quantity Surveyors or commercially oriented construction professionals who are interested in transitioning their industry expertise into a career in software and functional consulting. This is not a traditional IT or software development role. We are specifically looking for people who understand how construction projects operate in the real world particularly around budgets project costs commitments procurement variations forecasting and financial controls.

• As a Functional Consultant working with Konstryx you will use your construction domain knowledge to understand customer requirements translate business processes into system requirements support solution configuration and implementation and help construction organizations improve the way they manage project information and controls
• Work with construction customers to understand their existing project costing and cost-control processes
• Conduct business process discussions and requirement-gathering workshops with customer stakeholders
• Understand and document requirements related to areas such as Project budgetsCost codes and cost structuresCommitted and actual costsProcurement and subcontractor commitmentsProject forecastingVariations and change managementCost-to-complete and project financial controlsProject reporting and management visibility
• Translate construction terminology and operational requirements into clear functional requirements for Konstryx
• Support the configuration and implementation of the solution based on agreed customer processes
• Work closely with technical consultants and product specialists to ensure that business requirements are correctly understood
• Assist customers during solution demonstrations workshops testing and implementation
• Support User Acceptance Testing UAT and help business users validate that the solution meets agreed requirements
• Train and guide customer users on the implemented processes
• Act as a bridge between construction professionals and technology teams
• Provide practical recommendations based on previous construction industry experience
• Support presales activities where construction domain knowledge is required to understand prospective customer requirements or demonstrate relevant business scenarios

• Experience with ERP, construction management, project controls, commercial management or cost-control software would be an advantage.
