Job summary

Rowad Modern Engineering in the United Arab Emirates seeks a cost control engineer to monitor project costs, budgets and expenditures against baselines, and to prepare cost control reports. You will review tender estimates, material and subcontractor costs, forecast cash flow and profitability, and coordinate with procurement, planning and project teams to control costs and schedules.

Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience and strong Excel, Primavera and Oracle skills (Power BI a plus)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil preferred).
0–2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Primavera and Oracle is preferred.
Power BI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor project costs, budgets and actual expenditures against approved baselines.
Prepare cost control reports and analyze budget variances.
Review tender estimates, material purchase orders and subcontractor costs.
Forecast project cash flow, profitability and potential cost overruns.
Coordinate with procurement, planning and project teams to control costs and schedules.
Monitor project progress, identify delays and assess their impact on cost and time.
Recommend corrective actions to address budget deviations and improve project performance.
