Parker Connect seeks an experienced General Affairs leader to oversee a broad range of corporate services in the UAE. The role covers facilities, security, leases, assets, governance, and vendor management across multiple locations.

You will coordinate with government bodies, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and drive process improvements while supporting IT and residence logistics. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in General Affairs, facilities, corporate services, government relations, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of facilities, leases, contracts, assets, HSE, government documents, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with DIFC, JAFZA and/or UAE freezone operations is an advantage.
  • Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to travel between office locations and regions as required.

Responsabilités

  • Manage daily office operations including maintenance, cleaning, utilities, access, parking, visitors, contractors, supplies, seating and workplace services.
  • Liaise with landlords, service providers and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Organize company events, meetings and office functions.
  • Communicate office notices, safety information, regulations, holidays and updates.
  • Oversee safety programs, inspections, training, fire drills, risk assessments and emergency plans.
  • Maintain emergency equipment, evacuation plans, call trees and contact lists.
  • Support crisis response, evacuation, relocation and communications during emergencies.
  • Investigate incidents and track corrective actions promptly.
  • Promote safety awareness and ongoing preparedness.
  • Manage office leases, relocations, renovations, fit-outs, reinstatements and handovers.
  • Oversee vendor coordination, project schedules, approvals and documentation.
  • Ensure timely renewals of leases, permits, insurance and service contracts.
  • Keep accurate records of fixed and controlled assets; manage asset procurement, disposal and transfers.
  • Support IT asset administration in coordination with IT department.
  • Handle company housing and staff residences: leases, utilities, maintenance, inventories, deposits and handovers.
  • Manage company vehicles, drivers, parking, insurance, maintenance, registrations and vendor performance.
  • Submit, renew, and obtain approvals with government bodies, free zones, customs, civil authorities.
  • Ensure validity of trade licenses, permits, lease registrations, customs codes and gate passes.
  • Arrange document certification, attestation, notarization, legalization, translation and official processing.
  • Provide company secretarial services with the Legal Department (board/shareholder docs, resolutions, regulatory filings, statutory registers).
  • Maintain compliance calendar for licenses, permits, contracts, insurance, subscriptions and deadlines.
  • Prepare budgets, contracts, quotations, risk assessments and internal approvals (Ringi).
  • Support MEA offices with GA approvals and processes.
  • Source, evaluate and manage vendors per policy.
  • Review invoices, coordinate payments with finance and back-office processing, and monitor budgets and contracts.
  • Ensure service quality and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate GA meetings, audits, trainings, manuals and follow-ups across MEA and HQ.
  • Manage regional projects in facilities, residences, assets, HSE and business continuity.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and management updates.
  • Promote digitalization, automation and process improvements.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records of contracts, licenses, assets, inspections, incidents, training and payments.
  • Support travel, accommodation, transportation, meetings, events, memberships, couriers, subscriptions and visitor logistics.
  • Provide backup support during absences or peak workloads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within company policies and laws.

  • Manage submissions, renewals, and approvals with government bodies, free zones, customs, civil

  • Support MEA offices with GA approvals and processes.

Qualifications & Profile
  • Experience: 6+ years in General Affairs, facilities, corporate services, government relations, or similar, preferably in multinational environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Practical knowledge of facilities, leases, contracts, assets, HSE, government documents, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with DIFC, JAFZA and/other UAE freezone company operations an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between office locations and regions as required.
