Key Responsibilities
What you will be doing
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the multidisciplinary project team — ensuring engineering deliverables, site inspections, field investigations and reporting tasks are progressing in line with the schedule across both contracts.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact with the client's project management team — managing routine correspondence, meeting minutes, action tracking and follow-up on open items.
  • Prepare, review and submit project deliverables, progress reports and technical documentation in accordance with contractual deadlines and client submission requirements.
  • Monitor and update the project schedule — tracking progress across diagnosis, design and delivery phases for both contracts, identifying schedule risks and reporting deviations to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Coordinate site activities — liaising with the QA/QC Inspector, Quantity Surveyor and field supervision staff to ensure repair works are progressing, inspected and documented as planned.
  • Maintain the project document management system — ensuring all correspondence, drawings, reports and submissions are filed, version-controlled and accessible to the team.
  • Manage the GIS-based works register in coordination with the GIS Engineer — tracking completed and ongoing repair locations, progress status and outstanding items.
  • Prepare and chair internal coordination meetings — producing agendas, minutes and action logs; ensuring agreed actions are followed up and closed out.
  • Attend client meetings alongside or on behalf of the Senior Project Manager — presenting progress updates, responding to technical queries and managing client expectations professionally.
  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly progress reports — consolidating inputs from all team members into a coherent, accurate and timely client-facing document.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in managing subcontractors and external specialists — tracking deliverable schedules, reviewing submissions and flagging issues.

Who We Are Looking For
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in project coordination, project management or engineering supervision roles.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the water, wastewater or underground utility network sector.
  • Experience on sewage network repair or new construction projects is a serious advantage — candidates with this background will be given strong preference.
  • Proven track record of client-facing project delivery — comfortable representing the company in client meetings and managing day-to-day client relationships.
  • Experience managing or coordinating small to medium-scale projects with moderate independence.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across concurrent workstreams.
  • Working knowledge of contractual requirements in a consultancy or construction context — able to read, interpret and apply contract terms in day-to-day decisions. A contract-first mindset is essential: the right candidate instinctively refers to the contract when scope, obligations, entitlements or responsibilities are in question.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project or equivalent) and document management systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office — particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with GIS-based project tracking tools is an advantage.
