Job Description: The role involves working on projects associated with Sewage & Stormwater, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks, Water distribution networks, Pumping Station, Recycling Plant and rehabilitation works. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, construction supervising and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
- Preparing inspection reports and site records.
- Performing civil and structural tests.
- Inspecting all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
- Identifying non-conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions, and coordinating responses.
- Collaborating with team members and working as part of a team.
- Working in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems and supporting basic design calculations.
- Conducting technical feasibility studies and site investigations.
- Coordinating with remote teams for task and project completion.
- Maintaining excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Surveying with modern instruments and maintaining site measurement records.
- Managing client relationships internally and externally.
- Effectively managing utility diversions.
- Proficiency in software including Excel and MS Word.
- Following safe work practices and adhering to company guidelines and policies.
- Aligning all work with Stantec Core Values and the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
- Designing for safety, including Construction Design Management.
- Performing other duties as requested by the Assistant Resident Engineer.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in miscellaneous Sewage work projects and supervision of infrastructure works.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience with survey work using modern instruments and keeping site measurement records.
- Experience identifying non-conforming works, generating reports, corrective actions and coordinating responses.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
