Job summary

Ghobash Group seeks an experienced contracts professional to draft, review, negotiate and administer contracts in the UAE. You will manage change orders, claims and variations, monitor subcontracts, and ensure timely, compliant contract close-outs.

You will liaise with technical, project and legal teams to align deliverables with contract requirements, maintain records, and protect company interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 38 years of experience in construction / Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Primavera and ERP systems.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and administering contracts.
• Managing change orders, claims, variations and disputes.
• Liaising with technical teams, project teams, legal departments and management.
• Reviewing contract documents and correspondences.
• Drafting letters including contractual letters and confirmations.
• Maintaining records, correspondences and data related to the company.
• Monitoring contracts and subcontracts for extension, renewal and close-out.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensuring timely and accurate contract approvals.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and company standards.
• Performing other contract-related duties as necessary.
