Job summary

ROVOP is seeking an experienced tender and commercial professional to join our global team in Dubai. You will support the Commercial Department in tender preparation and assist the Operations team with project commercial issues across our global remit.

The role involves coordinating budget proposals, tender pricing, documentation, and subcontractor/supplier proposals, with responsibility for invoicing accuracy and supplier relationship management.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in a similar tender/commercial role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and collate budget proposals and tenders, including subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Prepare detailed and accurate tender price estimates.
• Maintain up-to-date clarification registers for tenders and coordinate with Technical Sales Manager for feasible technical solutions.
• Prepare commercial and collate contractual & technical deliverables for client tender submissions.
• Draft and/or negotiate Call Offs to established contracts.
• Maintain commercial databases such as CRM.
• Lead handover between Commercial and Operations of relevant documents and review tender risk register.
• Provide ongoing support to operations on commercial issues and identify efficiencies to increase margin.
• Ensure accuracy of project invoicing monthly.
• Work with Supply Chain to evaluate supplier management and partnerships.

Role Summary

You will provide support to the Commercial Department in tender preparation along with supporting the Operations team in relation to project commercial issues. This role provides global support to the business.

Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and collate budget proposals and tenders, including associated subcontractor andsupplier proposals (where applicable) in accordance with our internal management systems
• Prepare detailed and accurate tender price estimates
• Maintain up to date and comprehensive clarification registers for tenders and work with theTechnical Sales Manager to ensure a suitable and achievable technical solution is provided
• Prepare commercial and collate contractual & technical deliverables for inclusion in clienttender submissions (i.e. commercial, contractual, and technical qualifications) with supportfrom other departments where required
• Draft and/or negotiate Call Offs to previously established contracts
• Maintain commercial databases such as CRM
• Lead the handover process between Commercial and Operations of all relevant commercialand contractual documents including a detailed review of the tender risk register
• Provide ongoing support to the operations team in relation to the commercial issues thatarise on project and working with the Project Manager to identify efficiencies to increasethe margin
• Ensure the accuracy of project invoicing on a monthly basis
• Work with Supply Chain to ensure supplier management and strategic partnerships arebeing evaluated on a regular basis.

About You

You should have a number of years’ experience of a similar role previously; with sound numerical and analytical skills. It would be desirable if you had experience of operating in global jurisdictions given the global remit of this role.

You should be PC literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
