Job summary

Business Umbrella in Dubai seeks a Contract Engineer to prepare, review and manage contracts across EPC projects, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations and supporting cost control and risk management.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements; support tender evaluations; monitor compliance, and coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in EPC construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC NEC or other standard contract forms.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, cost estimation and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Contract Preparation & Review: Draft, review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts and service agreements in line with project and legal requirements.
• Tendering Support: Assist in the preparation of bid documents, tender evaluations and contract award processes.
• Risk & Claim Management: Identify potential contractual risks and support claim preparation, dispute resolution and variation management.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to contract terms, conditions and applicable laws/regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors and legal teams to align contract terms with project needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate contract records, logs and reports for audits and performance tracking.
