Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification.
Eligibility for DOH/DHA licensing in UAE.
Experience with outpatient, inpatient and surgical care pathways.
Proven track record in elective and emergency orthopedic procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries including fracture fixation and joint replacements.
Evaluate trauma patients and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
Develop individualized treatment plans with surgical and non-surgical options.
Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation staff.
Manage chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and spine disorders.
Utilize X-ray, MRI and CT imaging for planning and follow-up.
Educate patients on injury prevention and recovery processes.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities – Orthopedic Surgery

Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles
Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures
Evaluate and treat trauma patients, including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries
Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and conservative management approaches
Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists for comprehensive patient care
Manage chronic orthopedic conditions such as osteoarthritis, spine disorders, and sports injuries
Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery processes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and orthopedic programs
Ensure adherence to evidence-based surgical protocols and patient safety standards
