Stafmed is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon for a full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE. The role encompasses a broad range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, with patient assessment, treatment planning, and postoperative care at the core.

You will join a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and patient safety in a Dubai-based facility. Strong board certification and Tier 1 recognition are required, with 3–5 years

Qualifications

• Board certification in Plastic Surgery or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS/RCPSC/UK CCT-CCST/European Board or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post-specialisation experience in Plastic Surgery.
• Eligibility for Consultant licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive care.
• Perform a range of plastic, reconstructive, or aesthetic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care.
• Manage complex surgical cases and potential complications.
• Counsel patients on options, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in governance.
• Contribute to protocols, standards, and education within the department.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in a broad range of reconstructive and/or aesthetic plastic surgery procedures. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical care, from patient assessment and treatment planning through to postoperative management, while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgical care

• Perform a range of plastic, reconstructive, and/or aesthetic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and treatment goals

• Perform preoperative assessments and provide comprehensive postoperative care

• Manage complex surgical cases and potential postoperative complications

• Provide appropriate counselling regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and surgical standards

• Support medical education, training, and professional development within the department

Qualifications

• Board certification in Plastic Surgery or equivalent recognised qualification

• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent recognised qualification

• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Plastic Surgery

• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
