Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery services in line with international standards and clinical governance expectations.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures, including trauma reconstruction, burns management, hand surgery, soft tissue reconstruction, scar revision, and aesthetic interventions.
• Lead outpatient clinics, assess surgical suitability, review patient expectations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct detailed pre‑operative assessments, including medical history review, risk evaluation, clinical examination, consent discussions, and surgical planning.
• Manage post‑operative follow‑up, wound care, recovery monitoring, complication prevention, and long‑term outcome review.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure complete care for trauma, burns, reconstructive, aesthetic, and complex surgical patients.
• Participate in on‑call duties as required, including urgent surgical consultations and emergency case support.
• Maintain accurate consultation records, operative notes, consent documentation, clinical reports, and follow‑up plans.
• Support quality assurance, clinical governance, audits, patient safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activity.
• Train and mentor junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff involved in plastic surgery care.
• Communicate clearly with Arabic‑speaking patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedure risks, recovery timelines, and expected outcomes.

Ideal Profile

• Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent specialist qualification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for Dubai Health Authority consultant registration.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post‑consultant experience.
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
• Strong surgical expertise across reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, trauma reconstruction, burns care, hand surgery, and post‑operative management.
