Job summary

TalentSpoc is seeking an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, with strong clinical and surgical skills.

You will assess patients, plan complex procedures, perform surgeries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes and maintain high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MS/MCh/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level
• Strong expertise in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery
• Experience in advanced reconstructive procedures is an advantage
• Excellent surgical technique, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery
• Perform aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures according to patient needs
• Manage complex wounds, scars, soft-tissue injuries, and post-traumatic defects
• Perform facial reconstruction, breast surgery, and body-contouring procedures as appropriate
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery
• Manage surgical complications and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery
• Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, maxillofacial surgeons, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation
