Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Board certification, fellowship, or equivalent qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Relevant UAE PQR requirements for the Consultant title.
• Proven expertise in reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures.
• Strong surgical skills and patient communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, clinical assessments, and preoperative evaluations.
• Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs and indications.
• Perform rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, breast reconstruction, liposuction, and facial surgery within scope.
• Manage reconstructive cases involving congenital issues, trauma, burns, and post-oncological defects.
• Provide postoperative care, monitor recovery, and manage complications.
• Perform minimally invasive aesthetic procedures where trained and privileged.
• Counsel patients about options, outcomes, risks, and recovery requirements.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive care.
• Ensure DHA compliance, infection control, and international safety standards.
• Maintain medical documentation and participate in audits and professional development.

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join its surgical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring the highest standards of surgical safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform a wide range of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical procedures.




2. Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, clinical assessments, and preoperative evaluations.




3. Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical indications.




4. Perform procedures such as rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, breast reconstruction, liposuction, and facial aesthetic surgery within the approved clinical scope.




5. Manage reconstructive procedures involving congenital abnormalities, trauma, burns, and post-oncological defects.




6. Provide comprehensive postoperative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.




7. Perform minimally invasive aesthetic procedures where appropriately trained and privileged.




8. Counsel patients regarding surgical options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and recovery requirements.




9. Collaborate with dermatologists, anesthesiologists, and other surgical specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.




10. Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, infection control protocols, and international surgical safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
