Qualifications

• Medical degree and postgraduate training in Plastic Surgery.
• Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.
• Extensive experience in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic procedures.
• Strong expertise in patient assessment, surgical planning, and advanced operative techniques.
• Experience in cosmetic or microsurgical procedures is preferred.
• Excellent surgical skills and attention to detail; strong communication with patients and teams.
• Ability to manage complex cases with high patient safety standards.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients needing plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic procedures.
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including cosmetic, reconstructive, and restorative interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, evaluate expectations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform aesthetic procedures such as facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast surgery.
• Manage reconstructive cases related to trauma, burns, congenital conditions, and post-surgical reconstruction.
• Pre-operative assessments, planning, operative procedures, and post-operative follow-up.
• Provide expert advice on options, risks, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, and others.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in audits, CME, and professional development; mentor junior surgeons.
• Stay updated with advances in plastic surgery techniques and technologies.
