We are looking for an Arabic‑speaking pediatric consultant with at least five years of post‑specialty experience. The role involves comprehensive pediatric care, including newborn care, child and adolescent health, immunization, developmental assessment, and emergency management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine pediatric check‑ups to assess growth, development, and immunization status.
- Evaluate patients to diagnose injuries, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, developmental concerns, and behavioral issues.
- Prescribe and interpret diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision‑making.
- Provide treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and preventive care.
- Manage newborn, infant, child, and adolescent health with a family‑centered approach.
- Respond to pediatric emergencies and arrange timely escalation or referral.
- Coordinate care plans with nurses, specialists, allied health professionals and support teams.
- Communicate clearly with patients and parents in Arabic and English about diagnoses, treatment options, medication use, risks, preventive care, and follow‑up.
- Educate families on nutrition, immunization, hygiene, developmental milestones, sleep routines, safety and proactive child health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, vaccination records, diagnostic reviews, prescriptions and follow‑up documentation.
- Ensure clinical care follows DHA requirements, hospital policies, patient safety standards, confidentiality rules and evidence‑based practice.
- Support a warm, professional and child‑friendly care environment focusing on comfort, trust and high‑quality patient experience.
Ideal Profile
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant Pediatrician registration in Dubai.
- Minimum five years of post‑specialty experience in pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of newborn care, infant care, child health, adolescent medicine, immunization, developmental assessment and pediatric illness management.
- Ability to handle pediatric emergency situations with sound clinical judgment.
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills with empathy toward children, parents, and families.
- Strong ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and specialist services.
- Commitment to patient safety, preventive care, ethical practice, clinical documentation and continuous professional development.
