Overview

Consultant - Arabic Speaking Pediatrician in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a specialized Hospital and Health Care opportunity for an experienced physician who can provide comprehensive medical care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

This role is suited for a compassionate Arabic speaking pediatric consultant with strong clinical knowledge in child health, preventive medicine, immunization, developmental monitoring, emergency response, and family-centered communication.

Salary: 55,000–75,000 AED per month (estimated range based on similar jobs in the job city; please confirm the final offer with the employer).

Role Context

The Consultant - Arabic Speaking Pediatrician will serve as a primary medical point of care for pediatric patients, supporting children and families through routine health checks, illness diagnosis, growth monitoring, vaccination planning, emergency assessment, treatment decisions, and long‑term child wellness. The position requires a professional yet caring approach, strong Arabic communication skills, and the ability to explain medical concerns clearly to parents while coordinating with specialists and healthcare teams when more advanced care is required.

Core Duties

• Conduct routine pediatric check‑ups to assess health status, growth, development, nutrition, immunization needs, and overall wellbeing.
• Evaluate newborns, infants, children, and adolescents to diagnose injuries, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, developmental concerns, and common pediatric disorders.
• Prescribe, request, and interpret diagnostic tests to identify underlying medical issues and guide accurate treatment decisions.
• Provide treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and preventive care to manage illness and reduce future health risks.
• Handle pediatric emergency situations with confident clinical judgment, timely stabilization, and appropriate referral or escalation when required.
• Monitor newborn and adolescent health needs, including feeding concerns, growth patterns, puberty‑related issues, behavioral concerns, and preventive health guidance.
• Direct and coordinate pediatric patient care, involving subspecialist consultations when children require more focused medical assessment.
• Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers in Arabic and English regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medication use, possible risks, warning signs, and follow‑up care.
• Educate families on proactive health management, vaccination schedules, nutrition, hygiene, sleep, safety, developmental milestones, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including consultation notes, diagnosis, treatment plans, test results, vaccination records, and follow‑up recommendations.
• Work closely with nurses, pediatric subspecialists, emergency teams, laboratory services, radiology teams, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Support ethical pediatric practice, patient safety, infection control, confidentiality, and evidence‑based medical standards.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized qualification in Pediatrics.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialty experience in pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of newborn care, child health, adolescent medicine, immunization, preventive pediatrics, and emergency pediatric care.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills are preferred for multidisciplinary coordination and clinical documentation.
