Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with ear, nose, throat, airway, hearing, speech-related, and recurrent infection concerns.
- Diagnose and manage pediatric ENT conditions such as ear infections, tonsillitis, hearing loss, speech and language issues, sinus problems, nasal obstruction, and throat disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient age, clinical findings, diagnostics, family concerns, and evidence‑based practice.
- Provide expert consultation to pediatricians and other specialists for complex cases.
- Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures when clinically necessary and within approved privileges, ensuring safe pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
- Monitor patient progress through follow‑up consultations, treatment responses, hearing assessments, and adjust care plans as required.
- Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support child‑centered care.
- Counsel parents and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment options, procedure risks, recovery expectations, hearing support, speech concerns, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, operative reports, consent documentation, follow‑up plans, and treatment summaries.
- Support clinical quality, patient safety, infection control, confidentiality, and ethical practice standards.
- Stay updated with current pediatric ENT practices, surgical techniques, diagnostic methods, and international standards.
- Contribute to a collaborative clinical environment focused on innovation, compassion, and improved outcomes for children and families.
Ideal Profile
- Licensed physician with specialization in Pediatrics and Otolaryngology or ENT.
- Western‑trained education or clinical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT in a reputable medical facility.
- Proven record of delivering high‑quality patient care in a pediatric setting.
- Strong knowledge of current pediatric ENT practices, procedures, diagnostics, and surgical pathways.
- Experience managing children with hearing loss, recurrent ear infections, tonsillitis, speech‑related ENT concerns, airway issues, and other pediatric otolaryngology conditions.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reassure children and explain clinical decisions clearly to families.
