Job summary

SearchPlus HR is recruiting an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon with UK CCT to join a premier UAE healthcare facility in Dubai. The role focuses on high-quality specialist orthopaedic and trauma care within a multidisciplinary, internationally recognised clinical environment.

The candidate will provide comprehensive assessment and surgical management, perform elective and emergency procedures, and engage in clinical audits and professional development.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent qualification.
• UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Current or eligible GMC Specialist Register status preferred.
• Strong experience in elective orthopaedic surgery and trauma management.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible for licensing with UAE health authority (DHA/DOH/MOHAP).
• Candidates willing to relocate to the UAE are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of orthopaedic and trauma conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic procedures according to clinical expertise.
• Manage complex trauma, fractures, joint disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Review imaging and labs and formulate management plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists and radiologists.
• Participate in emergency/on-call services as applicable.
• Maintain documentation and comply with UAE regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and teaching.
