Job summary

SearchPlus HR has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading private hospital in Dubai, UAE. The role requires a UK-trained consultant with CCT in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery, strong clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

You will assess and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, perform procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent degree.
• GMC registration or eligibility for the UK pathway.
• UK-trained consultant with CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Consultant-level experience in Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures aligned with training and expertise.
• Manage trauma cases, fractures, and spine/knee/hip conditions as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to governance and patient safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and continuous quality improvement.
