Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy presents an opportunity for an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon with UK CCT to join a leading UAE healthcare facility. You will deliver high-quality orthopedic and trauma care within a multidisciplinary, internationally recognised clinical environment.

Requirements include MBBS or equivalent, UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, and eligibility for UAE licensing. Relocation support and comprehensive employment benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent is required.
• UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery is essential.
• GMC Specialist Register status is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of orthopaedic and trauma conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic procedures according to clinical expertise.
• Manage complex trauma, fractures, joint disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and provide appropriate pre- and post-operative care.
• Review diagnostic imaging and laboratory investigations and formulate appropriate management plans.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anaesthetists and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in emergency/on-call services where applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching and professional development activities.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff where required.
