Talentspoc in Dubai is seeking a Consultant Neurologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders while working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role involves managing acute and chronic neurological conditions, interpreting EEG/EMG/neuroimaging, and developing individualized long-term plans. You will collaborate with specialists, supervise junior staff, and ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Neurology (MD / DNB / DM / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board).
• Consultant-level recognition in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations, examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Manage stroke, epilepsy, MS, Parkinson's, dementia, migraine, neuropathies and NM disorders.
• Interpret EEG/EMG/NCS, CT, MRI and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Provide acute neurological care and plan long-term management.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists and rehab physicians.
• Supervise junior physicians and maintain accurate records.

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neurologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with neurological disorders. The successful candidate will manage complex neurological cases and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Manage patients with stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, migraine, neuropathies, and neuromuscular disorders.
• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with seizures, headaches, dizziness, weakness, movement disorders, and cognitive impairment.
• Diagnose and manage complex cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative conditions.
• Interpret neurological investigations including EEG, EMG/NCS, CT, MRI, and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Provide acute neurological care and support the management of neurological emergencies.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation physicians, intensivists, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term management.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and clinical staff where required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• MD / DNB / DM / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurology.
• Appropriate qualification and experience for Consultant-level classification in the UAE.
• Strong post-specialization experience in Neurology, including experience managing complex neurological cases.
• Strong expertise in general and acute neurology.
• Excellent clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
