Qualifications

• Medical degree such as MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.

• Proficient in interpreting neurological imaging and neurophysiological investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed neurological consultations and comprehensive clinical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide specialist care for patients with stroke and related cerebrovascular conditions.
• Diagnose and manage epilepsy and seizure disorders using appropriate clinical and diagnostic pathways.
• Treat patients with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
• Manage multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory or demyelinating neurological conditions.
• Assess and treat migraine, chronic headache disorders, and associated neurological symptoms.
• Interpret MRI and CT imaging relevant to neurological diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Review EEG findings in patients with suspected epilepsy or altered neurological function.
• Interpret EMG and nerve conduction studies when evaluating neuromuscular or peripheral nerve disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, disease severity, patient needs, and current evidence.
• Monitor treatment response and modify medication or management strategies according to clinical progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex neurological case discussions.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, internal medicine physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, treatment plans, prognosis, and long-term disease management.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows.
