Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking a Consultant Neurologist for our leading UAE healthcare facility in Dubai. You will provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neurological patients, mentoring junior staff and collaborating with radiologists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.

The role requires extensive experience in neurology, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate Neurology qualification (MD/DNB/DM/MRCP/FRCP/Arab Board) or equivalent.
• Consultant-level qualifications suitable for UAE.
• Strong post-specialization neurology experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations and clinical assessments.

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neurologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with neurological disorders. The successful candidate will manage complex neurological cases and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Manage patients with stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, migraine, neuropathies, and neuromuscular disorders.
• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with seizures, headaches, dizziness, weakness, movement disorders, and cognitive impairment.
• Diagnose and manage complex cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative conditions.
• Interpret neurological investigations including EEG, EMG/NCS, CT, MRI, and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Provide acute neurological care and support the management of neurological emergencies.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation physicians, intensivists, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term management.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and clinical staff where required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• MD / DNB / DM / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurology.
• Appropriate qualification and experience for Consultant-level classification in the UAE.
• Strong post-specialization experience in Neurology, including experience managing complex neurological cases.
• Strong expertise in general and acute neurology.
• Excellent clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
