Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and stenting.
• Interpret neuroimaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular cases.
• Participate in on-call coverage for stroke and neuro-interventional emergencies.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and critical care teams for integrated patient care.

Role Context

The Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist is responsible for delivering minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for neurovascular disorders, ensuring precision, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and stenting
• Interpret neuroimaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular cases
• Participate in on-call coverage for stroke and neuro-interventional emergencies
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and critical care teams for integrated patient care
• Contribute to development of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and neurovascular boards
• Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technical staff
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding procedures and care plans
• Engage in research, teaching, and continuing medical education activities
