Job summary

Client of Dr Expat in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant Internal Medicine Physician to diagnose, treat and manage adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering evidence-based care with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include MBBS with MD or DNB in Internal Medicine, a minimum of 5 years' experience as a consultant, proven ability to handle complex cases, and valid DOH, DHA or MOH license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD or DNB in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Internal Medicine.
• Strong expertise in managing complex medical cases.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Western Board or Tier-1 Board Certification preferred.
• Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH Licence or Eligibility.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide consultant-level care for inpatient and outpatient services
• Develop personalised evidence-based treatment plans
• Manage patients with multiple comorbidities and complex medical conditions
• Interpret laboratory investigations imaging and diagnostic tests
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient management
• Provide preventive healthcare and chronic disease management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH regulations
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
• Stay updated with advances in Internal Medicine and evidence-based practice
