Job summary

Talentspoc in the UAE seeks an experienced Specialist Internal Medicine Physician to deliver comprehensive adult medical care, both inpatient and outpatient. You will diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, coordinating with subspecialists as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes preventive care, health screening, lifestyle counselling, and patient education, with strong clinical judgement and teamwork across a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
• Relevant post-specialization experience in Internal Medicine.
• Strong experience managing complex adult medical cases and multiple comorbidities.
• Excellent clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and preventive medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, history taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate subspecialists when advanced specialist intervention is required.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, infectious disease specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health screening, lifestyle counselling, and patient education.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, benefits, and follow-up requirements clearly to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, patient-safety initiatives, and continuing medical education.
• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, evidence-based clinical guidelines, professional standards, and facility policies.

Our leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients.

The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions and work closely with other specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.

This aligns with current UAE internal-medicine practice standards and roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, history taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
• Manage conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, renal disorders, endocrine conditions, and infectious diseases.
• Evaluate patients presenting with complex or undifferentiated medical conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and management plans.
• Review and interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical response.
