Job summary

Client of Dr Expat in Abu Dhabi seeks a Specialist Internal Medicine Physician to diagnose treat and manage a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions.

You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Internal Medicine services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes while ensuring documentation meets DOH and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred/perceived.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic adult medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Internal Medicine services.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term disease management plans.
• Interpret laboratory investigations imaging studies and diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per DOH and hospital standards.
• Educate patients on disease prevention lifestyle modification and chronic disease management.
• Participate in clinical audits continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives.

Job description

As a Specialist Internal Medicine Physician you will diagnose, treat and manage a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions. You will provide comprehensive medical consultations, coordinate patient care and contribute to improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions affecting adult patients
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Internal Medicine services
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term disease management plans
• Interpret laboratory investigations imaging studies and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH and hospital standards
• Educate patients on disease prevention lifestyle modification and chronic disease management
• Participate in clinical audits continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Medical Degree MBBS MD or equivalent with specialization in Internal Medicine
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine
• Hospital or clinic-based experience in Internal Medicine
• Broad understanding of acute and chronic adult medical conditions
• Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient medical services
• Valid DOH DHA MOH License or eligibility is preferred
• Excellent clinical decision-making communication and patient management skills
• Available to join within 3 months
