Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, or a relevant specialty.
• Strong clinical training and expertise in critical care protocols and management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Oversee the care of patients in the intensive care unit, including those requiring advanced life support.
• Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, ARDS, and other critical care emergencies.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary ICU rounds and treatment planning.
• Oversee mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and other advanced organ-support therapies.
• Perform or supervise relevant critical care procedures, where qualified.
• Monitor patient progress, manage complications, and coordinate transitions of care.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, surgery, anesthesia, and other specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Consultant Intensivist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert care to critically ill patients, lead intensive care management, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level
• Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, advanced life support, and ICU management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
