Qualifications

The Consultant ENT Surgeon will manage a broad spectrum of otolaryngology conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings. The position combines diagnostic expertise with advanced operative care, including sinus, ear, airway, and head and neck procedures. Strong clinical judgment and collaboration with audiology, speech therapy, and other specialties are central to achieving effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of adult and pediatric ENT conditions.
• Manage sinusitis, otitis media, hearing loss, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors.
• Perform tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy procedures.
• Undertake septoplasty for appropriate nasal and airway conditions.
• Perform functional endoscopic sinus surgery.
• Conduct microscopic ear surgery and laryngoscopy.
• Perform head and neck reconstructive surgery within the appropriate clinical scope.
• Interpret CT and MRI imaging relevant to ENT conditions.
• Review audiograms, endoscopic examinations, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Provide specialist outpatient consultations and inpatient clinical management.
• Develop appropriate surgical and non-surgical treatment strategies based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Apply evidence-based practices across diagnostic, medical, and surgical ENT services.
• Participate in clinical audits and continuing medical education activities.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of departmental clinical protocols.

• Board certification in Otolaryngology, such as American Board, Royal College, or equivalent.
• DHA license or eligibility for professional licensing in Dubai is required.
