Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common and complex ear, nose, and throat conditions, including sinusitis, otitis media, hearing loss, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors.
• Conduct detailed ENT examinations and determine appropriate medical or surgical treatment based on clinical findings.
• Perform tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and other indicated otolaryngology procedures.
• Carry out functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for patients requiring advanced sinus treatment.
• Perform microscopic ear surgery and laryngoscopy using appropriate surgical techniques.
• Undertake head and neck reconstructive surgery within the scope of specialist clinical practice.
• Review and interpret CT scans, MRI findings, audiograms, and endoscopic investigations to support accurate diagnosis.
• Provide outpatient consultations, inpatient assessments, and ongoing management of patients with ENT disorders.
• Assess and treat adult and pediatric patients with a range of otolaryngological conditions.
• Coordinate patient care with audiologists, speech therapists, and other medical specialists when multidisciplinary intervention is required.
• Apply evidence-based treatment approaches while maintaining patient safety and appropriate clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, continuing medical education activities, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
