Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East in Dubai seeks a Consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and surgically manage complex ENT and head and neck disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, tumor boards, emergency coverage, leadership of junior staff, and ongoing clinical audits. An MBBS with board/certification and at least five years as a Consultant ENT is required.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Board Certification, CCT, or Fellowship in Otolaryngology - ENT
• Fellowship or advanced training in Head and Neck Surgery is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Consultant ENT Specialist
• Eligiblity for licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ENT and head and neck conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures involving the ear, nose, throat, salivary glands, thyroid, and head and neck regions.
• Evaluate and treat patients with head and neck tumors.
• Manage complex airway, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct endoscopic examinations and apply advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient management.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, speech therapists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex clinical case discussions.
• Provide emergency ENT coverage and specialist consultation.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in research and Continuing Medical Education activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

The role includes assessment and treatment of head and neck tumors, airway conditions, voice and swallowing disorders, and other complex ENT presentations. The consultant will participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinate care with oncology, radiology, pathology, speech therapy, and other relevant specialties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Western Board Certification through UK CCT, FRCS, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian Fellowship, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Experience within tertiary‑care or academic medical centers.
• Research, teaching, or publication experience in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery.
