This position supports excellent patient outcomes through advanced surgical precision, multidisciplinary collaboration, and leadership in neurosurgical service development and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis and management of cranial neurosurgical conditions including brain tumors, trauma, vascular lesions, hydrocephalus, and skull‑base disorders
• Perform complex cranial surgeries using advanced microsurgical, minimally invasive, and image‑guided neurosurgical techniques
• Lead multidisciplinary case discussions with neurology, ICU, oncology, radiology, rehabilitation, and anesthesia teams
• Oversee pre‑operative evaluation, surgical planning, intraoperative decision‑making, and post‑operative critical care management
• Manage high‑acuity neurosurgical emergencies and complex cranial trauma cases with consultant‑level leadership
• Ensure compliance with international standards for patient safety, clinical quality, and surgical excellence
• Contribute to service development, protocol optimization, morbidity and mortality reviews, and departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior neurosurgeons, residents, and allied healthcare professionals while supporting academic development
• Participate in research, audits, innovation projects, and continuous professional development within neurosurgery
• Maintain accurate surgical documentation and ensure clinical governance compliance

Ideal Profile

• Board Certification, CCT, FRCS in Neurosurgery, or equivalent recognized specialist qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of post‑specialty Consultant‑level experience with strong cranial neurosurgery expertise
• Proven track record in complex cranial procedures and management of high‑acuity neurosurgical cases
• Experience within a tertiary or academic medical center is highly preferred
