Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy is seeking a seasoned Senior Erection Manager to oversee the safe and efficient installation of heavy industrial equipment in alignment with project specifications and timelines. You will develop detailed schedules and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution on site.

The role requires extensive Gulf experience, a background in construction or mechanical engineering, and a proven track record in managing complex erection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in heavy industrial construction, with focus on equipment erection.
• Proven track record managing complex erection projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient erection of heavy industrial equipment per project specs and timelines.
• Develop and implement detailed construction schedules for equipment installation and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage on-site activities including rigging, lifting, and setting large machinery; enforce safety protocols and ensure QA.

Job description

Oversee and direct the safe and efficient erection of heavy industrial equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Develop and implement detailed construction schedules for equipment installation, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manage on‑site activities including rigging, lifting, and setting of large‑scale machinery, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential hazards, and ensure quality control of all erection activities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in heavy industrial construction, with a strong focus on equipment erection.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex erection projects from start to finish, meeting budget and schedule targets.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, rigging procedures, and the operation of specialized erection equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean‑shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.
• Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field mandatory for managerial and SR positions.
