The Highfield Company is recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to join a leading international EPC contractor on a major oil and gas development in the UAE.

You will lead site construction activities, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and drive safe delivery through to mechanical completion and commissioning support.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Civil or Mechanical preferred.
• Total experience of 20+ years.
• Seven years on oil and gas projects.
• Experience delivering EPC projects for ADNOC or a comparable operator.
• Experience with a leading EPC contractor is preferred.

The Highfield Company is recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to join a leading international EPC contractor on a major oil and gas development in the UAE.

This is an opportunity to take a senior delivery role on a complex, multidisciplinary project encompassing pumping facilities, process equipment, piping, civil structures and associated electrical and instrumentation works.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site construction activities, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and drive safe delivery through to mechanical completion and commissioning support.

The role

• Lead Section Heads, Engineers and subcontractors to deliver works within programme and budget.
• Plan construction activities and allocate resources across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with the client, engineering, procurement and project management teams.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and construction planning.
• Manage site RFIs, changes and progress reporting, maintaining accurate project records.
• Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 20 years’ total experience, including at least seven years on oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management systems, processes and controls.
• Proven leadership across complex, multidisciplinary construction works.
• Experience delivering EPC projects for ADNOC or a comparable operator is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with a leading EPC contractor is preferred.
• An understanding of the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through to commissioning.
