Job summary

The Highfield Company is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead site activities on a major oil and gas development in the UAE. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors and drive safe delivery through to commissioning, reporting to the Project Manager.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree, 20 years total experience with at least 7 years on oil and gas projects, and a background in EPC delivery for ADNOC or similar operators.

• Total experience of 20 years, with at least 7 years on oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management systems, processes and controls.
• Proven leadership across multidisciplinary construction works.
• Experience delivering EPC projects for ADNOC or a comparable operator is highly desirable.

Construction Manager (Pipeline Construction)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Highfield Company is recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to join a leading international EPC contractor on a major oil and gas development in the UAE.

This is an opportunity to take a senior delivery role on a complex, multidisciplinary project encompassing pumping facilities, process equipment, piping, civil structures and associated electrical and instrumentation works.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site construction activities, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and drive safe delivery through to mechanical completion and commissioning support.

The role

• Lead Section Heads, Engineers and subcontractors to deliver works within programme and budget.

What we're looking for

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 20 years total experience, including at least seven years on oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management systems, processes and controls.
• Proven leadership across complex, multidisciplinary construction works.
• Experience delivering EPC projects for ADNOC or a comparable operator is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with a leading EPC contractor is preferred.
• An understanding of the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through to commissioning.
