Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment while leading teams and driving innovative construction solutions.

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Manage construction teams and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction operations to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and UAE building codes
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis, and manage schedule changes and delays proactively
• Develop and implement comprehensive project budgets; track expenditures and manage cost controls to prevent budget overruns
• Prepare progress reports, payment certifications, quantity measurements, and claims documentation for client review and approval
• Manage contract administration responsibilities, including reviewing specifications, interpreting contract requirements, and addressing contractor inquiries and change orders
• Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and inspections
• Promote and oversee strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders, clients, and team members; provide transparent communication and regular project updates
• Identify potential risks and issues early; recommend mitigation measures and adapt strategies as needed to ensure project success
• Mentor and support construction administration teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Maintain positive relationships through professional and transparent communication
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of all project records for closeout and future reference

What do we need from you

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in construction management, including commercial, residential, and/or infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, construction administration, or resident engineer roles
• Proven experience managing projects through the complete lifecycle from initiation through testing, commissioning, and closeout
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, engineering specifications, and contract documentation
• Experience supervising construction inspection teams and administering construction contracts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret and analyze contractor schedules and critical path methodologies
• Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Valid driver's license with access to a properly registered and insured vehicle
• Ability to conduct frequent site visits and work flexible schedules as required
