Job summary

Gardinia Contracting in Dubai seeks an experienced Logistics Manager with a UAE contracting background to oversee all logistics for construction projects. You will plan, coordinate, and control the movement of materials, equipment, and manpower to ensure timely execution while complying with UAE regulations.

The role requires 10–15 years of UAE contracting logistics experience, fleet and warehouse oversight, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of UAE contracting/construction logistics experience.
• Experience handling logistics for large-scale building, high-rise, villa, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE transportation regs, customs, and supply chain practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office and logistics management software.
• Bilingual English and Arabic is mandatory; UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support construction project requirements.
• Manage transport, delivery, storage, and distribution across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with procurement, PM, warehouse and site teams for resource availability.
• Monitor schedules and resolve transport or supply chain issues to avoid delays.
• Oversee fleet operations, maintenance coordination, and utilization optimization.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory management and material tracking.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters, suppliers, and logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Prepare logistics plans, reports, and performance metrics for management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Lead and develop the logistics team for operational excellence.
• Coordinate heavy equipment mobilization and demobilization activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in logistics management within a UAE contracting/construction company.
• Proven experience handling logistics operations for large‑scale building, high‑rise, villa, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE transportation regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain practices.
• Experience in fleet management, warehouse operations, and construction material handling.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and logistics management software.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with leading UAE contracting companies.
• Certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction project logistics and site operational requirements.

Mandatory Requirement:

UAE contracting/construction industry experience is mandatory.
