Job summary

Confidential, a leading construction firm in Dubai, seeks an Internal Audit Engineer to evaluate engineering workflows and strengthen internal governance. You will audit project delivery, assess operational risk, and verify compliance across active construction projects to drive better efficiency.

You will plan audits across site operations, analyze processes for gaps, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 3–5 years UAE construction experience.
• Experience in construction, project management, QC, or internal auditing.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control auditing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits across engineering operations, site workflows, and control frameworks.
• Identify risk exposures, weaknesses, and execution errors in operational activities.
• Assess compliance with internal policies, QA guidelines, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare audit reports with risk evaluations and actionable recommendations for executive management.
• Collaborate with project management and quality control teams to strengthen internal controls.
