Job summary

Go Tech Contracting L.L.C in Dubai seeks an Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for construction projects. You will review drawings, BOQs, quantities, and supplier quotes to develop reliable project pricing and ensure alignment with tender requirements.

You will work with commercial, procurement, engineering and project teams, identify commercial risks, perform quantity take-offs, analyse market rates, and support post-tender negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction estimation and tendering.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis and cost calculations.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction commercial practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work and contractual requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and verify quantities from drawings and BOQs.
• Analyse project requirements to identify labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor resources.
• Obtain, review and compare quotations from subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare pricing for materials, labour, equipment, subcontractor works, preliminaries and overheads.
• Develop competitive tender rates while ensuring cost coverage and profitability.
• Identify exclusions, qualifications, assumptions, and commercial risks within tender documents.
• Prepare tender summaries and pricing breakdowns for management review.
