Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES is seeking an experienced Estimation Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead the estimation function for construction and infrastructure projects.

You will manage tender submissions, develop cost estimates, review BOQs, and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Project teams to ensure successful bids.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of FIDIC contracts, and proficiency in Excel and estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of estimation experience with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience on roads, bridges, rail, tunnelling or major buildings.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQs, tendering, FIDIC, and value engineering.
• Proficient in Excel and estimation software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tenders.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, budgets and pricing strategies.
• Manage quantity take-offs and validate project cost calculations.
• Coordinate with Procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Review bid proposals to ensure compliance with client and contractual requirements.
• Support contract negotiations and project handover to execution teams.
• Monitor estimating processes and maintain historical cost databases.

Job Summary

The Estimation Manager is responsible for leading the estimation function for construction and infrastructure projects by managing tender submissions preparing accurate cost estimates reviewing BOQs and ensuring competitive and compliant bids. The role collaborates with Engineering Procurement Commercial and Project teams to deliver successful tender outcomes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel estimating software (Candy CCS CostX PlanSwift or equivalent) and ERP systems.


• Strong leadership analytical negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects. Experience in industrial commercial warehouse infrastructure or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of international quality standards inspection procedures and construction specifications. Experience working with consultants clients and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
