Job summary

reeqwest in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee the showroom and kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, quality, and strict HACCP compliance.

You will lead a diverse team of chefs, cashiers, and waitstaff, manage inventory and procurement, and drive performance through weekly reviews and audits. The role requires readiness for peak periods and a strong focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role within Food & Beverage sector.
• Preference for candidates with experience in both restaurant and confectionery/dessert shops.
• Strong leadership skills to manage chefs, waitstaff, and cashiers under pressure.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards; understanding of storage for confectionery items.

Responsibilities

• Oversee showroom and kitchen cleanliness and enforce food safety standards (HACCP).
• Monitor sales targets, review daily closing reports, and reconcile inventory with POS.
• Minimise waste by tracking shelf life of confectionery and raw materials; implement waste-reduction policies.
• Manage inventory and procurement by coordinating with central warehouses or suppliers; conduct periodic counts.
• Schedule staff shifts and train teams on service quality and uniform policy.
• Prepare operations and marketing plans for peak seasons (Ramadan, Eid, New Year’s).
