Job summary

Careers International in Dubai seeks a skilled Plant Engineer to strengthen our concrete manufacturing team. You will develop preventive maintenance programs for mixers, conveyors and batch plants, troubleshoot equipment issues and lead corrective actions to minimize downtime.

The role focuses on optimizing production processes for energy efficiency, monitoring KPIs, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and leading plant improvement projects in a fast-paced, heavy-industrial setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
Proven experience in a concrete manufacturing or similar heavy industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, process control and plant operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for mixers, conveyors and batch plants
Troubleshoot plant equipment issues and lead corrective actions to minimize downtime
Optimize production processes for energy efficiency and cost savings
Monitor KPIs and production data to identify areas for continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
Lead plant improvement projects and equipment upgrades
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to the Plant Manager
