Job summary

IPS Group in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Laptop Technician Card Level for a full-time, on-site role. You will diagnose, repair, replace laptop components, and perform hardware/software troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Printer support will be provided when required.

You will interact with users, document repairs, manage inventory, and explain resolutions to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong technical support and troubleshooting for laptop hardware, software, and card-level repairs.
• Printer support including installation, configuration, and basic maintenance.
• Customer service and clear communication with users.
• Diploma or certification in electronics or computer hardware engineering preferred.
• Hands-on laptop repair experience and ESD-safe handling practices.
• Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow SOPs.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with OS installation, configuration, and data backups is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for laptop hardware, software, and card-level repairs.
• Candidates should possess Printer Support skills, including installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of printers and related peripherals.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with users, understand issues, and provide clear, professional updates.
• Diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in laptop repair, component replacement, and ESD-safe handling practices is beneficial.
• Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow standard operating procedures for repair and quality checks.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Familiarity with basic operating system installation, configuration, and data backup practices is an advantage.
