Job summary

SFM is seeking an experienced technician in Abu Dhabi to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on smartphones and computers. You will replace screens, batteries, ports, cameras, and perform advanced motherboard repairs with micro-soldering.

You will service iPhone, Samsung and Android devices, desktops and laptops, install OS updates, and ensure high-quality repairs while maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mobile phone repair, with iOS/Android devices
• Experience with iPhone, Samsung and Android devices
• Experience in motherboard logic board repair and micro-soldering
• Knowledge of computer and laptop hardware/software repair
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and work independently
• Honest, reliable and committed to quality workmanship
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Candidates currently residing in UAE and available for immediate joining are preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in electronics or computer repair is a strong advantage


• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT), or manufacturer-specific certifications


• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing a diverse range of mobile phones (iOS, Android) and computers (Windows, macOS)


• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges


• Physically capable of lifting moderate weight and working in various positions for extended periods


• Maintains a high level of attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all repair and diagnostic processes


• Proactive learner, eager to stay abreast of rapidly evolving mobile and computer technologies and repair methodologies


• Communicates effectively and empathetically with customers, explaining technical jargon in simple terms and managing expectations
