Role Context

The Compliance Manager will help establish a consistent compliance framework across Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment and Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle. The position combines governance design, risk management, training, investigations, third-party reviews, regulatory monitoring, and data-led oversight. Effective delivery will reduce exposure to legal and ethical risks, improve decision-making, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and ensure compliance requirements remain integrated into routine commercial activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of a unified Compliance Operating Model aligned with Majid Al Futtaim standards.
• Translate group compliance requirements into practical processes, controls, responsibilities, and reporting lines.
• Establish governance frameworks that clarify ownership, escalation routes, decision rights, and accountability.
• Standardize compliance practices across business entities while considering operational and commercial differences.
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments across functions, activities, projects, and business units.
• Maintain accurate compliance risk registers and ensure identified risks are evaluated, documented, and monitored.
• Work with risk owners to develop proportionate mitigation plans, deadlines, and evidence of completion.
• Track remediation activity and elevate overdue or ineffective controls to the appropriate leadership level.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on entertainment and lifestyle operations.
• Coordinate with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Applicants should have 5-8 years of experience in Compliance, Ethics, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Governance, or a closely related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial, advisory, or business partnering capacity would be advantageous. The role requires practical expertise in compliance programme implementation, risk assessments, policy development, investigations, third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, and governance reporting.
