Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is seeking a Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (HVAC) for the Hail & Ghasha project in the UAE. The role requires 12+ years of relevant construction/modernization experience in oil & gas EPC settings and extensive HVAC commissioning expertise.

The position operates on a fixed-term contract with on-site duties, rotation schedule, and company-provided accommodation and transportation. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to coordinate with vendors and QA/QC

Qualifications

• University Degree /Equivalent Diploma in Engineering.
• Extensive HVAC commissioning experience (12+ years).
• Experience in oil & gas / EPC projects and large refinery plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages and functional tests.
• Prepare and manage commissioning punch lists and close items.
• Supervise vendor specialists and coordinate with Commissioning supervisors.
• Maintain logs and produce certificates for QA/QC handover.

He executes the activities relevant to functionalloop checks and to the interlock/sequence’s functionality checks incompliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safetyregulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties andresponsibilities

• To develop the detailedcommissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages and procedures forthe functional tests of the machinery.
• To check and prepare relevantCommissioning punch list.
• To supervise closing of pendingPunch List Items.
• To monitor and ensure thatactivities are carried out following the procedures and requirements.
• To supervise the works ofvendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
• To support the Vendors’specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actionswith the Commissioning supervisors.
• To keep records of allactivities performed in the logbook.
• To produce the certificates,duly signed by the parties involved, and handover to certificationengineer (QA/QC).

• University Degree /Equivalent Diploma in Engineering

Experience

• Relevant experience inconstruction/modernization of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPCprojects large refinery plants.
• Similar role coveredat least in last three projects of comparable size.
• Min 12 years relevantfield experience.
• Experienceworking on the Contractor side.
• Extensive experience inHVAC Commissioning.
