Rotana Hotels is seeking a passionate Commis II for our Centro Al Manhal by Rotana & Al Rawda Arjaan by Rotana sites in Abu Dhabi. You will assist in daily food preparation and support Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I to meet set standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie
• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the hotel rules
• Control food stock and food cost in his section
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
• Follow the instructions from the immediate superiors to complete daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation and stay up to date with new products and techniques
• Coordinate and participate with other sections regarding cleanliness, wastage and cost control
