Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Commis I to join our kitchen team. You will assist in preparing dishes for la carte and buffet with guidance from senior chefs, ensuring high quality and presentation that meet our standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in similar role for a 5 Star Hotel/Resort in UAE.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in Cold Section.
• Culinary education background.
• Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus.
• Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards.
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback.
